Cleaning Up Post Plans

After the Prepare Cleanup process is run successfully, the post plans that were processed are now in the cleanup phase and are ready for cleanup.

To finish cleanup for post plans, access the Post Management – Cleanup page (select an approved post plan row on the Post Management – Search Post Plan (by post or by payee) page.

During the cleanup phase, the administrator processes all changes that are requested by the planner (for example, decrement, increment, and relocate posts). These requests are displayed in the Outgoing section on the message center, ready to be processed.

Outgoing

To process a cleanup message listed in this section, for example, decrement post to A16 for 3 posts, select the radio button of the message, and then click the Select for Clean-Up check box for the three posts on which the action is performed. The system tries to process as many edit functions from the list as possible, or as selected from the list of posts.

Finish Clean-Up

Click to complete the cleanup process. Clicking this button changes the status of the post plan row to Clean Up.

Select for Clean-Up

Select for the corresponding post upon which the cleanup action (selected in the Outgoing section) is processed.

Clean-up Messages

Displays information that assists administrator make decisions pertaining to the cleanup process.

Outgoing – displays changes requested by the planner. They are valid actions on posts.

Pending Incoming – displays changes that are requested in other post plan rows that impact the current one if they are processed.

Changes after Cut-Off Date – displays all post leaving changes from cut-off date to the end of last year.
