Allocating Costs from General Ledger

You can use the Allocations process to distribute revenue, expense, and statistical quantities from accounts in PeopleSoft General Ledger to one or more projects in PeopleSoft Project Costing. In these situations, the allocation pool is derived from a ledger instead of from a PeopleSoft Project Costing table. Follow similar steps to set up allocations from general ledger accounts as you do to set up project-to-project allocations.
