PeopleSoft combined with People Tools provides search capabilities using the Oracle Search Framework, which is implemented through the PeopleSoft Search Framework.

Five search types — PeopleMatch, PeopleSearch, Order Search, Customer Search, and Contact Search— use the Search Framework.
