Understanding PeopleSoft Support for Cloud Attachments

PeopleSoft enables users to attach files from a cloud storage to PeopleSoft applications. Users can configure a cloud service provider and directly upload files from the cloud storage to PeopleSoft applications.

For example, if an HR recruiter wants to upload the resume of a potential candidate from cloud storage to PeopleSoft, he can do so without having to move away from his current browser page. If configured, the cloud service provider is displayed as an option in the File Attachment window. From here, the HR recruiter can choose the cloud service provider, attach the resume directly, and upload it to PeopleSoft applications.

This feature enables you to upload a single file or multiple files. PeopleSoft provides file attach functionality through the AddAttachment and MAddAttachment APIs.
