Managing Swiss Legal Attribute Records
This section discusses:
Handling of Legal Attributes in Non-MC and MC Environments
Legal Attributes with New Levels
PeopleSoft Global Payroll for Switzerland supports handling of employees for payroll calculations in two modes — Non-MC Environments and MC Environments.
In Non-MC Environments:
Individual employee records are considered as a single legal entity
Reference record and employee record have an one-to-one relationship
Swiss attributes are assigned to a dedicated employee record
Independent Payroll is generated for this legal entity per employee record
In MC Environments:
There can be multiple employment records for a single employee / legal entity spanning several companies, and canton of work locations
Unlimited number of employee records can be added
Multiple employment records are mapped to a single reference record
Reference Record and employee records have a one-to-many relationship
The reference record acts as the unified single legal entity
Swiss attributes are assigned to this unified single legal entity
Payroll and ceilings are applied to the single legal entity
Reference records are identified by the system and this controls prompting and defaults
