Logs [All or Business Process], by name
This setting: | To: |
---|---|
Modify Record Ownership | Allow users to transfer ownership of a record from one user to another. The user with this permission setting does not need to be the current owner/creator. Note: The current record owner will always have this ability, regardless of whether this setting is selected. |
Terminate Workflow | Allow users to terminate a BP record. This permission overrides the “Do not allow creator/owner to terminate record” option in the Business Process Configuration window. Note: Do not use this permission for single-record BPs. |
Modify Step Assignment | Not applicable. |
View All Records | Allow users to view all records of the project, no matter what users were involved in the workflow |
View Company Records | Allow users to view all records created by, sent to, or copied to any user in the company |
View User Records | Allow users to view only those records the user created, received, or was copied on |
View Hidden Comments | Allow users to view comments marked as “hidden” |
Hide Record Audit Log | Allow users to hide the audit log information of a record |
Hide Task Statuses | Allow users to hide the workflow progress window |
Allow Bulk Edit | Allow users to udate the workflow status of all BPs in a shell or project, or edit multiple records with similar edits |
Edit Records | Allow users to edit any record on the log, unless it is in terminal status. For workflow BPs, users ill see the Action form at this step of the workflow. Userscan edit the form, but cannot take any workflow actions. Note: This permission overrides any record-level edit permissions. |
Add Hidden Comments | <Missing permission added to this table. Need context to provide description> |
Add General Comments | Allow users to add a general comment to any BP record they can view (workflow or non-workflow), regardless of the workflow step, and regardless of the assignee or Cc settings. With this permission, any user with view permission for the BP can add a general comment to the form, even if the business process is at a terminal or terminated status. Users do not have to be an assignee or cc’d user. If the user is an assignee, they can add comments to the BP without accepting the task. Note: Use this permission selectively. This permission is best for users, such as project managers, who may need to comment on BP steps they don't normally participate, but have the permission to view. |
Disable Record Copy | Prevent users from copying a record or line items within a record in the User mode when users select any of the following menu options: Copy with Attachments, Copy without Attachments, or copy with conditions. A message displays indicating the user does not have the required permission. |
