Creating and Managing Lease Business Processes
To create a Lease business process (BP) record:
- Navigate to the Lease BP log.
- In the Lease BP log, select Create. The Lease form opens.
- Complete the Lease BP record. Add the basic lease information to the upper form, including the lease name, number, class of lease, and other details. Add the routing information for the workflow if the BP is a workflow BP.
- On the detail form, add the payment terms in the Payment Setup tab. Select Add to add a line item for each aspect of the lease for which you want to create a payment schedule. For example, you can add individual line items for rent, maintenance costs, and taxes.
- Select Save.
To edit a line item:
If the Lease BP form is still a Draft, you can edit a line item at any time.
- Open the grid by selecting the Add button.
The Line Items window opens.
- Enter the payment general setup, payment trigger dates setup, straight line settings, payment escalation setup, and the cost account setup.
- Make changes, and select Save.
To remove a line item:
In the Lease BP form, select the line item to remove, and select Remove.
