View 2D files in Unifier Viewer

You can use Unifier Viewer to upload and attach 2D files from your local system. For a list of supported file formats, see File Viewer Option.

To view 2D files:

  1. Go to a project/shell tab, and switch to User mode.
  2. In the left Navigator, select any of the following nodes:
    • Select Document Manager, and then select Documents.
    • Select Document Manager, and then select Unpublished Documents.
    • Select Mailbox, and then open an item in the Inbox, Drafts, or Sent Items folders.
    • Select Project Mailbox, and then open an item in the Inbox folder.
    • Select Tasks, open a business process, and select the Attachments or Comments tab.
  3. Right-click a 2D file, and then select Open or Review.

    Note: (Cloud only) All 2D files display in the 2D Files tab in the left pane.

  4. (Optional) On the open file in the center pane, perform any of the following actions:
    • To maximize and view the file, select View Fullscreen.
    • To show or hide the files in the current folder, select Files List ( ).
    • To show or hide the comments panel, select Comments ().
    • To close the 2D file, select Close (X).
  5. (Cloud only) In the left pane, select a 2D file and then perform any of the following actions:
    • If eSignature is enabled for a business process:
      • To request an eSignature on the selected file, select Request eSignature.
      • To recall the file whose status is in In Progress, select Recall Signature.
    • To view previous versions of the selected file, select History ().
  6. If you have permission to enter comments in the file attachments, perform any of the following actions in the Comments pane on the right:
    • To enter a comment, select Post Comment. Comments cannot exceed 1000 characters in length.
    • To hide or publish the comment, select Post Hidden or Post Public from the drop-down list.
    • To attach a file, select Attach File.
    • To focus on a subset of existing comments, enter your search criteria in the Search bar.

Antivirus scanning of files

If you are using an Oracle Cloud-based deployment, Unifier includes a virus scanner. To prevent virus attacks from infiltrating your system through external files, the system scans each file that is uploaded. Until the scan is completed, the file remains in a Scan Pending state.
