Copy a Shell Dashboard

You can create shell dashboards by copying and modifying existing dashboards. Copying a shell dashboard does not copy the permissions associated with the dashboard, but will copy all other dashboard information.

To copy a shell dashboard:

  1. Go to the Company Workspace tab, and switch to Admin mode.
  2. In the left Navigator, select Company Sponsored Shells, select the [shell type], and open the [shell instance].
  3. In the left Navigator, select Setup, and then select Dashboards. The Dashboards log opens.
  4. Select a shell dashboard.
  5. Open the gear menu (), and select Copy.
  6. Enter the name of the new dashboard and an optional description.
  7. Select Save. The dashboard is listed in the log.
  8. Select the dashboard in the log, open the gear menu, and select Open. The shell dashboard editor opens.
  9. Modify the new dashboard as needed and Save.
