Import Account Sheet Rows

Step 1: Export template

  1. Open the accounts sheet.
  2. Select Export, and choose Account Codes.
  3. In the File Download window, select Save.
  4. Enter a file name, browse to where you want to save the file, and select Save.

Step 2: Edit Template in Excel

  1. Open the CSV file you just exported.
  2. If the accounts sheet already contains rows, they will be listed. Note the format and structure.
  3. Delete any existing rows.
  4. Enter new account codes into the columns, and save the file.

Step 3: Import the CSV file

  1. On the Account Sheet toolbar, select Import, and choose Account Codes.
  2. In the Upload window, browse to and add the CSV file.
  3. Select OK. After the import, the accounts sheet will show the new rows. Rows are sorted alphabetically by account code (adjusts for tree or flat structure).
