Delete Calculated Elements
In the Calculated Elements step of the Data Source Creation guided process, you can also delete any current or previously added calculated element in this data source.
To delete a current or previously-added calculated element in this data source:
- In the Search bar, enter any of the following information:
- Name: Enter the name of the calculated element. For example, enter ue_ibu_DocID.
- Label: Enter the display label used for the calculated element. For example, enter Document ID.
- Type: Enter the data type of the calculated element. For example, enter Integer, String.
- In the Search Results list, select the check box for a calculated element and click Delete.
To select all calculated elements displayed in the search results, select the check box for the total number of items displayed in the search results. For example, if 9 items are displayed in the search results, then select check box for 9 items.
- From the Save menu, select any of the following options:
- Save: Click to save the entered information.
- Save and Close: Click to return to the Data Sources log.
- Properties or Data Elements: Click to revert to the previous steps of the guided process.
- Click Continue to proceed to Filters: (Optional) Create Filters for Data Elements of the guided process.
Notes:
- You can click Cancel in any step of the guided process to discontinue and return to the Data Sources log.
- It is recommended to click Save in each step to avoid losing any unsaved information or selections made in that step.
- Resolve any errors displayed for calculated elements.
