Using AI to Summarize a BP (Cloud Only)
Using the Records Summarization feature, you can:
- Generate a summary of the records listed in the log for a specific type of BP.
- Tailor the output using the provided data elements (DEs) that are relevant to the summary that you want to produce.
- Define the level of detail to include.
- Define the output format.
- Use copy-and-paste functionality to copy data into other applications or documents.
- Save a history of the summaries that you have generated.
When the feature is available, the toolbar of the applicable BP log includes a Summarize Records option. (If the option is not visible, it is because Records Summarization is disabled or enabled only for Company Users and you are a Partner User, because the BP is not configured for use with Records Summarization, or because the BP Type does not currently support Records Summarization.)
You can configure settings that you want to use for the summary prior to generating it, or you can generate a summary and then change the settings. You can also save and delete summaries.
