Security:

You can choose from the following combinations of authentication methods:

• Oracle Web Services Manager (OWSM) for SOAP and Username Token Profile for REST
• Username Token Profile for both SOAP and REST
• SAML for SOAP and Username Token Profile for REST
• Cookies for SOAP and Username Token Profile for REST
• Open Authentication (OAuth) for both SOAP and REST

Set the preferred authentication modes in Primavera P6 Administrator.

New Endpoints:

• /project/checkOutProject
• /project/checkInProject

Functional Changes:

New checked out project logic allows P6 EPPM Web Services users functionality equivalent to placing an exclusive lock on a project. Only the user who checked out the project, or any P6 EPPM Web Services user with Admin Superuser privileges can check a project in. The rules associated with checked out projects in P6 and P6 Professional are not affected by this change.
