Configuring My View Preferences
You can choose how to show information about Projects and WBS nodes.
To configure your view preferences:
- On the User Control Panel, select your user name and click
Expand User Control Panel. - On the user menu, select Preferences.
- In the View section:
- In the Timeframe for completed activities list, choose how many days of completed activities will show when you select the All filter in My Activities.
- To show the project ID, select Show Project ID.
- To show the project name, select Show Project Name.
- To show the WBS ID, select Show WBS ID.
- To show the WBS name, select Show WBS Name.
- To group the Timesheets view by project, select Group by Project.
- To group the Timesheets view by WBS, select Group by WBS.
- To show only an activity's own WBS while filtering activities by WBS, select Show only Activity's WBS.
- To show an activity's WBS and its parent WBS while filtering activities by WBS, select Show Activity's WBS parent.
- Select Save (Ctrl+Alt+Enter).
Tip
- If you select neither Show Project nor Show Project ID, P6 Team Member Web will display both the Project ID and Project Name in the project filter, but elsewhere neither the Project ID nor the Project Name will appear.
- The options for grouping by Project and WBS on this page are applicable only for the Timesheets view. To group the Activities view, use Customize View.
- If you group the Timesheets view by WBS, your view will also be grouped by Project.
