Option 1: Deploy Primavera Analytics Administration Application From Remote WebLogic Administration Console
To deploy the Primavera Analytics Administration Application from the WebLogic Administration Console:
- Sign in to the WebLogic Administration Console:
http://<server>:<port>/console
where:
<server> is the IP address of the server.
<port> port is the listening port. By default, 7001.
/console is the default context for the WebLogic Administration Console.
- Select Edit Tree to enable configuration changes.
- In the Domain Structure pane, click Deployments. This will display the App Deployments Summary table.
- In the Deployments table, select New .
- In the Deployment Configuration screen, provide the following details:
- Name: Specify the application deployment name as analytics.ear.
- Targets: Transfer AdminServer from the Available targets to the Chosen targets.
- Upload your application: Disable this option.
- Source path: Enter the full path to the analytics application archive. For example, <star_home>\star\app\analytics.ear.
On Deployment: Select Start Application.
- Select Create.
- Select the Shopping Cart icon and then select Commit Changes.
- Verify the deployment status.
- Select the App Deployments drop-down, and then select Application Management - Monitoring Tree.
- Check if analytics.ear is in active state. Otherwise, select analytics.ear and then start the application.
- Verify the deployment status by accessing the application login page.
Example URL: http://<hostname>:<port>/p6rdb
Replace the <hostname> with the server's hostname and the <port> with the configured listen port.
- Proceed to add users and groups to manage the application in WebLogic. Form more information, see Manage Users and Groups in the Security Realm.
