2.2.1.10 Changing a User's Assigned Group
The group assignment determines the functions that a user has access to,
for more information, see Group Administration.
Note:
If the user is currently logged in to the system, this operation does not affect the user's current session. The next time the user logs in, the new assignment takes effect.Perform the following procedure to change a User's Assigned Group:
- From the Users page, select a user from the list.
- Click Edit.
- Select the appropriate groups from the Group listing.
- Click OK.
The user's assigned groups are updated in the
database and take effect the next time the user attempts to log in the user
interface.
