Data Futures Return: PG Entry Qualification Subject
For each PG Entry Qualification Award entity in the extract, up to 5 Subject entities are created based on whether the award is derived from either Degree Qualifications or External Degrees.

For records derived from Degree Qualifications, an entity is created using the Subject value and additional entities are created if Subject 2 or Subject 3 are defined. Subject is a required field in Entry Profile - Degree Qualifications. Subject 2 and 3 are optional.

For records derived from External Degrees, up to 5 entities are created based on the HECOS1, HECOS2, HECOS3, HECOS4 and HECOS5 fields defined in Entry Profile. If no subjects are defined in Entry Profile a single entity is created with SUBJECTID derived as NULL ERROR.

Field Derivation Rule: Include for all entities
Derivation Steps:

If the entity is created from a Degree Qualification record, the Subject, Subject 2, or Subject 3 value is derived.

If the entity is created from an External Degree record, HECoS codes from Entry Profile are derived.
