Send Log Information

The following procedure shows you how to send Siebel Mobile log information.

User must click on Send Email button to send the log file to the respective recipient.

The Send Email button will be enabled only if log functionality is enabled i.e. on clicking of Enable Logs. Once clicked on Send Email button, in the background SiebelMobileLogs.txt file will be generated and configured default email client app will be opened in compose mode.

You can send email with persisted SiebelMobileLogs.txt file. By clicking on Send Email, one LOG cycle is completed, and the logging state goes back to its default disabled state.

In Android > Download/SiebelMobileLogs.txt

In IOS > Siebel/SiebelMobileLogs.txt

Note: In IOS, if the Siebel Folder which contains SiebelMobileLogs.txt is not visible, restart the mobile. This issue generally occurs in IOS, specifically in IOS 17.x versions.

In Android, If you are re-installing Siebel app after uninstalling it, ensure that file SiebelMobileLogs.txt is deleted from the download folder, if it exists prior to the re-install. Alternatively, You can also click on Clear Logs button from LOG screen before uninstalling.

Note: Before using Send Email functionality, ensure user is able to send/receive email from their email client.
