Changing the Floor Negotiation Rates

The Negotiation Rates - Manager view allows the event manager to change the floor negotiation rates for this specific quote if necessary.

Note: Only the Revenue Manager can change the floor Negotiation Rates.

To change the floor negotiation rates

  1. Navigate to the Quotes screen, then the List view.

  2. In the Quotes list, query for and select the quote.

  3. In the Quote record, click the link in the Quote # field, and then click the Room Blocks view tab.

  4. Scroll down, and click the Negotiation Rates - Manager view tab.

  5. Click Calculate Rates.

  6. Update the Avg Floor field and other negotiation rates as necessary.

  7. Update the tax- and service charge-related fields if necessary.
