Creating a Matrix Series for a Property
The following procedure details how to create a matrix series record for which an account or segment matrix discount can be defined.
This task is a step in Setting Up a Matrix Series.
To create a matrix series for a property
Navigate to the Property Pricing Admin screen, then the Properties view.
In the Properties list, select the required property and click the link in the Property Name field.
Click the Matrix Series view tab.
In the Matrix Series list, create a new record, complete the fields, and save the record.
The following table describes some of the fields.
Field Comments Series Name
Enter a name for the series.
Start Date
The date from which the series will become effective.
Start Day
This field is automatically populated after the Start Date field is completed.
End Date
The date after which the series is no longer effective.
End Day
This field is automatically populated after the End Date field is completed.
Product Line
Select the product line to which this matrix series applies.
Description
Enter a description of the series.
You must now create either an account or statement discount for the series.
