Modifying Email Templates

Templates provide the content for automated messages, such as confirmations of orders being placed and shipped.

To modify an email template

  1. In your Siebel employee application, navigate to Administration - Communications > All Templates.

    The Templates view appears.

  2. Select a template—for example, Order Confirmation.

  3. Make modifications to the template record’s Text field.

    You can also copy and paste available substitutions, such as [Street Address].

  4. Click the Template Items tab to attach preformatted files with template content, such as a standard header or footer.
