Manage Running Total Method

Manage Running Total increments or decrements the running total amount for a benefit.

Arguments

The following table describes the arguments for this method.

Argument Name	Description
Count Method	A value that indicates the type of counter. Values include Increment and Decrement.
Current Amount	The current value of the counter before the benefit amount is applied for the transaction.
Valid Transaction Amount	The amount of benefit to apply and reflect in the running total. The Contracts Resolver business service can calculate this amount. For more information, see Contracts Resolver Business Service.

Return Value

The following table describes the return value for this method.

Return Value	Description
Adjusted Current Amount	The updated running total, adjusted by the Contracts Accumulator business service to reflect the amount of benefit applied (Valid Transaction Amount).
