Managing Room Block Negotiation Rates for a Quote Meeting Package

For a room block that is part of a quote, you can calculate and view the average room rates by weekday, weekend day, and so on. To calculate and view room block negotiation rates for a quote meeting package, follow this procedure.

To manage room block negotiation rates for a quote meeting package

1. Navigate to the Quotes screen, then the List view.

2. In the Quotes list, query for and select a quote with an associated meeting package.

3. In the Quote record, click the link in the Name field, and then click the Room Blocks view tab.

4. In the Room Blocks list, query for records with one of the following values:

   • Core check box is selected.

   • Package field value of IS NOT NULL.

5. Select a core room block record and click the Negotiation Rates subview tab.

6. In the Negotiation Rates list, click Calculate Rates.

   Siebel Hospitality updates the fields, as appropriate, from the rates you entered.

7. Select a record and view the information in the fields.
