Creating a New Dynamic Disclaimer

The following procedure shows you how to create a new dynamic disclaimer.

To create a new dynamic disclaimer

  1. Navigate to the Sample Management screen, then the Disclaimer Management view.

  2. From the view drop-down list, select Disclaimer Text to create a new dynamic disclaimer text record.

  3. From the view drop-down list, select Dynamic Disclaimer Rule Set.

    1. Create a new dynamic disclaimer rule set record and complete the necessary fields as required.

      Some fields are described in the following table.

      Field Comments

      Name

      The name of the rule.

      Apply to

      Apply the rule to one of the following:

      • Inventory Audit

      • Pharma Call
      • Transaction Adjustment

      Status

      Valid values for the rule set include Active and Expired. There can only be one rule set active at any one time.

    2. In the Rules applet, create rules for the dynamic disclaimer rule set and complete the necessary fields.

      Some fields are described in the following table.

      Field Comments

      Name

      The name of the rule.

      Rule Type

      Apply the rule as one of the following:

      • Expression

      • Invoke Method
      • Business Service (not supported)

      Sequence

      The sequence in which to apply the rule when multiple rules are present.

    3. In the More Info applet, add rule expressions and conditions to the dynamic disclaimer rule set and complete the necessary fields.

      Field Comments

      Name

      Name of the rule set (automatically populated).

      Rule Type

      This field is automatically populated by either the Expression or Invoke Method rule type.

      Conditional Expression

      A pop-up field which can be used to build an expression based on the underlying business components.

      Disclaimer Text

      The text for which the rule set is applied.

      Method Name

      Specifies the method to invoke.

      Description

      Brief description of the rule.
