Provide Access to Siebel Workflow Processes and Siebel Business Services

For a Siebel Workflow Process or a Siebel Business Service to be accessed via REST, administrator must assign it a Responsibility, as describe in the steps below:

Provide Access for Siebel Workflow Process

1. Navigate to Administration – Application > Business Process Access > Access By Responsibility
2. In the top applet Business Process, create a new record and pick a Business Process Name you want provide REST access.
3. In the bottom applet Responsibility, pick the value for the Responsibility field (example Siebel Administrator responsibility).
4. Click Clear Cache button.

Provide Access for Siebel Business Service

1. Navigate to Administration – Application > Business Service Access > Access By Responsibility.
2. In the top applet Business Service, create a new record and pick a Business Service Name you want provide REST access.
3. In the middle applet Responsibility, pick the value for the Responsibility field (example Siebel Administrator responsibility).
4. In the bottom applet Business Service Method, pick the Business Service Method Name.
5. Click Clear Cache button.
