Transferring a Policy

The original owner of a vehicle associated with a policy might sell the vehicle before the warranty expires. In some cases, the policy can be transferred to the new owner of the vehicle.

To transfer a policy

1. Navigate to the Administration - Service screen, then the Warranty Policies view.

2. Search for the policy that you want to transfer.

3. In the Customer Information section of the Warranty Policies form, click the single select button in the First Name field.

4. Select the new policy owner, in the Pick Contact dialogue box, and click OK.
