ProcessRedemptionTransaction Method

When you use Siebel REST API to process a redemption transaction for the LWA LOY Transaction business component, the application takes the details of the transaction that are passed in by the Base LWA LOY Transaction integration object. ProcessRedemptionTransaction uses this information to create and process a single redemption transaction. It can also loan points, if there are insufficient points for a redemption, and if the member is eligible for a loan.

The user key, U2, for the transaction is based on the Member Number (#), Product Name, and Transaction Date fields from the LWA LOY Transaction business component. The transaction date includes the time as well as the date, so that users can redeem the same product for a member at different times on the same day. If two or more users try to redeem the same product for the same member at the same time of the day, then an error message is displayed.
