Inheriting Delegated Assignment Rules

This topic explains how to inherit an assignment rule using the delegated assignment administration views.

This task is a step in Process of Inheriting and Refining Delegated Assignment Rules.

To inherit a delegated assignment rule

1. Navigate to the Administration - Delegated Assignment screen, and then the Rule Group Explorer view.

2. In the Rule Group Explorer, expand the rule group for which you want to inherit rules, and then click Inheritable Rules.

3. Select one or more rules that you want to inherit, and then click Inherit Rules.

   The rule (or rules) now appear as rules in the Rule Group Explorer view under Rules.
