Defining Repair Operation Times

Repair operation times are often specific to a vehicle model. For that reason, when defining a repair operation code, you must attribute it to a specific product.

To define repair operation times for a repair operation code

1. Navigate to the Administration - Service screen, then the Repair Operation Code view.

2. Drill down on a repair operation code.

3. Click the Repair Operation Time view tab, and click New.

4. Specify the vehicle in the Product field, or click the single select button to choose from the Pick Product dialog box.

5. Select Unit of Measure from the drop-down list.

6. In the Time field, specify the amount of time that it will take to complete the repair operation for the vehicle you selected previously.

7. Define the start date.

8. Define the end date.

9. Repeat the previous steps for every vehicle to which this repair operation code applies.
