Configuring Navigation Links for Embedded Interviews

To implement embedded interviews for Siebel Public Sector Self Service or other applications, you must create and configure navigation links.

Note: The navigation links mentioned below are examples for the sample use case scenarios for Siebel Public Sector Self Service. Create as many records and child records as you require for your applications and use cases, using whatever fields you require.

To configure navigation links

Use this procedure to create and configure navigation links.

  1. Navigate to Administration - Application, then Navigation Links.

  2. In the Navigation Links list, create two new records:

    • Use these values for Apply For Benefits (for Apply for Benefits scenario):

      • Navigation Link Name. Specify the name of this navigation link. Enter Apply For Benefits.

      • Image Source. Specify the image source. Enter siebui-icon-tasks-alt.

      • Action. Specify the action to be performed. Enter View Drilldown.

      • View Name. Specify the name of the view to navigate to. Enter PUB OPA Interview Service View.

      • Display Name. Specify the display name of this navigation link. Enter APPLY FOR BENEFITS.

      • Active. Checked.

      • Description. Specify the description of this navigation link. Enter Apply For Benefits.

      • Max Record Count Displayed. Specify the maximum record count to display. Enter Null.

    • Use these values for Screening For Services (for Screen for Eligibility scenario):

      • Navigation Link Name. Specify the name of this navigation link. Enter Screening For Services.

      • Image Source. Specify the image source. Enter siebui-icon-tasks-alt.

      • Action. Specify the action to be performed. Enter View Drilldown.

      • View Name. Specify the name of the view to navigate to. Enter PUB OPA Interview Service Screening View.

      • Display Name. Specify the display name of this navigation link. Enter SCREENING FOR SERVICES.

      • Active. Checked.

      • Description. Specify the description of this navigation link. Enter Screening For Services.

      • Max Record Count Displayed. Specify the maximum record count to display. Enter Null.

  3. In the Applets list, for each of the navigation links records, create the following records:

    • For Apply For Benefits and for Screening For Services, create one or more operation records like the following to support your use case:

      • Applet Name. Specify the name of this applet. For Apply For Benefits, enter PUB Citizen Post Login Quick Links Applet. For Screening For Services, enter PUB Citizen Post Login Quick Links Applet and PUB Citizen Quick Links Applet.

  4. In the Translations list, for each of the navigation links records, create the following records:

    • For Apply For Benefits and for Screening For Services, create one or more operation records like the following to support your use case.

      • Language Code. Specify the language code. Enter ENU.

      • Language Name. Specify the language name. Enter English-American.

      • Display Name. Specify the display name of this translation. For Apply For Benefits, enter APPLY FOR BENEFITS. For Screening For Services, enter SCREENING FOR SERVICES.
