Creating and Configuring Integration Maps for Embedded Interviews

To implement embedded interviews for Siebel Public Sector Self Service or other applications, you must create integration maps for Intelligent Advisor. Then you configure these integration maps by adding parameters with the appropriate values for your deployment.

Note: Some of the integration maps mentioned below are examples for the sample use case scenarios for Siebel Public Sector Self Service and for the Siebel Mobile application for Siebel Financial Services. Create as many records and child records as you require for your applications and use cases, using whatever fields you require.

Creating an Integration Map

  1. Navigate to Administration - Integration, then OPA Integration Mapping.

  2. In the OPA Integration Map list, create a new record, with values like the following:

    Name. Specify a name suitable for your deployment, such as NewRuleBaseInt. You will also use this integration map name in the interview applet search specification. (Some sample integration maps you might require are described in Integration Mapping Parameters for Siebel Public Sector Self Service and in Siebel Mobile Guide: Connected.)

    Active Flag. Enter Y to make this integration map active.

Configuring the Integration Map

  1. Navigate to Administration - Integration, then OPA Integration Mapping.

  2. In the OPA Integration Map List list, select the record for the integration map you created in the previous procedure.

  3. In the OPA Integration Map List Parameters list, create a new record for each applicable parameter and provide the appropriate values.
