Creating Retroactive Tier Member Attributes
The tier class qualifying period member attributes are used to specify the current and previous qualifying period of a member for a particular tier class. These attributes determine whether or not retroactive tier logic must apply to a transaction.
Every tier class that is eligible for retroactive tier changes needs the following three member attributes defined:
TC1 Previous QP Start. For tier class 1, this attribute is the start date of the previous qualifying period.
TC1 Current QP Start. For tier class 1, this attribute is the start date of the current qualifying period.
TC1 Current QP End. For tier class 1, this attribute is the end date of the current qualifying period.
To create retroactive tier member attributes
Navigate to the Loyalty Program Administration screen.
Locate the program that the attribute applies to and click its Program Id hyperlink.
Clear the program form’s Active check box.
Click the Program Level Attributes view tab.
In the link bar of the Program Level Attributes view, click Member Attributes.
Add the first record to the Program Level Attributes list, and complete the necessary fields. Some fields are described in the following table.

Add the third record to the Program Level Attributes list, and complete the necessary fields. Some fields are described in the following table.

Repeat the steps in this procedure to add these attributes to each tier class and select the Active check box to activate the attributes.
When you are finished creating all attributes for the program, select the program form’s Active check box to activate the program.
