Setting Up Retroactive Tier Rules

The retroactive tier logic requires additional rules to evaluate member records and determine if a tier change is necessary.

For the given example for the Base Tier, the following would be the new sequence of rules (assuming only points as the criterion for Tier qualification):

  1. Manual Tier Approval

  2. Retro Tier Automatic Activation

  3. 250,000 Points, Upgrade Platinum Retro

  4. 250,000 Points & Not Expired - Upgrade to Platinum

  5. 120,000 Points, Upgrade Gold Retro

  6. 120,000 Points & Not Expired - Upgrade to Gold

  7. 60,000 Points, Upgrade Silver Retro

  8. 60,000 Points & Not Expired - Upgrade to Silver

  9. Expired Cancellation Retro

  10. Base Expired, Qualify Base

  11. Manual Upgrade to Silver

  12. Manual Upgrade to Gold
