Setting Up Super Users for Product Administration

A product administrator, who is defined as a super user, can do the following:

• Unlock or edit objects that have been locked by other product administrators or users from the UI.

• Import product models with object locked by others.

• Use REST APIs to import product models.

Examples of versioned objects include a product, class, attribute definition, signal or variable map. The main advantage to being able to unlock versioned objects is so that someone else can work on them, thereby minimizing downtime and delays in time-to-market.
