Process of Creating Custom Reports
The process to create a custom report involves the following tasks:
(Optional) Create a new integration object, if an appropriate integration object doesn’t exist, or extend an existing integration objects in Siebel Tools. For more information, see Creating Report Templates.
Create XML data in the Sample Data File Generation view in the Siebel application.
Create a new or modify an existing report template. For more information, see Registering Report Templates.
Register layout templates. For more information, see Associating Report Templates with Views.
(Optional) Add multiple integration objects to a report.
(Optional) Share report layout templates. For more information, see Sharing Report Templates.
(Optional) Define report layout templates for selected records.
Associate the report template with Siebel views. For more information, see Associating Report Templates with Views.
Change the report sequence order in the View Association view in the Siebel application.
