Turning Off Package Sorting

You may want to turn off package sorting to improve performance if:

• The order in which information is returned does not matter to you.

• You usually only have one package in a shipment.

• Sorting is performed in middleware.

• Sorting is performed by the carrier’s shipment tracking application.

  This task is a step in Process of Setting Up Shipment Tracking.

To turn off package sorting

1. In Siebel Tools, select the Shipment Tracking-Package Tracking business component.

2. Select Business Component User Prop.

3. Select the Sort Results user property.

4. Change the value from Y to N.
