Reviewing the Quote Summary Header

The Summary form displays a summary of the sleeping room, function space, total quote revenue, and profit information.

This task is a step in Process of Reviewing Quote Details.

To review the quote summary header

1. Follow the navigation steps of Accessing the Quote Summary.

2. View the information in the Sleeping Room Revenue section.

   Some fields are described in the following table.

   Field	Comments
   Revenue	Sum of the revenue for all sleeping rooms associated with the quote.
   Profit	Sum of sleeping room profits for the quote. The profit for a sleeping room is equal to the sleeping room price minus the cost.
   Taxes	Sum of sleeping room taxes for the quote.
   Service Charges	Sum of sleeping room service charges for the quote.

3. View the information in the Function Space Revenue section.

   Some fields are described in the following table.

   Field	Comments
   Revenue	Sum of function space revenues for the quote.
   Profit	Sum of function space profit for the quote, with each function space profit calculated as function space revenue multiplied by the profit percentage defined for the rental. This is calculated from the rollup of revenue categories in which the Line Item Sum flag is selected.
   Taxes	Sum of function space taxes for the quote.
   Service Charges	Sum of function space service charges for the quote.

4. View the information in the Non-Function Revenue section.

   Some fields are described in the following table.

   Field	Comments
   Revenue	Sum of the nonfunction revenues for the quote.
   Profit	Sum of nonfunction profit for the quote, with each nonfunction line item profit calculated as the nonfunction line item revenue multiplied by the profit percentage defined for the associated revenue category.
   Taxes	Sum of nonfunction taxes for the quote.
   Service Charges	Sum of nonfunction service charges for the quote.

5. View the information in the Total Revenue section.

   Some fields are described in the following table.

   Field	Comments
   Revenue	Total revenue for the quote, which is the sum of function space revenue, nonfunction revenue, and room block revenue.
   Profit	Total expected profit for the quote, which is the sum of function space profit, nonfunction profit, and room block profit.
   Taxes	Total taxes for the quote, which is the sum of function space taxes, nonfunction taxes, and room block taxes.
   Service Charges	Total service charges for the quote, which is the sum of function space service charges, nonfunction service charges, and room block service charges.

6. View the information in the Sleeping Room Availability section.

   Some fields are described in the following table.

   Field	Comments
   SR Availability	An aggregate inventory status for all the room block line items. Indicates sleeping room availability with one of the following values: Total. All sleeping room line items associated with the quote are available for use. Not Available. Sleeping room line items are not available for use. Partial. Some sleeping room line items are available for use.
   Total Room Nights	Sum of all contracted rooms associated with the quote.
   Refresh	When selected, signals you to click Refresh to calculate the correct values on the Quote Summary view.

7. View the information in the Function Space Availability section.

   Some fields are described in the following table.

   Field	Comments
   FS Availability	An aggregate inventory status for all the functions associated with a quote. Indicates function space availability with one of the following values: Total. All function space line items associated with the quote are available for use. Not Available. Function space line items are not available for use. Partial. Some function space line items are available for use.
   Total Square Feet	Sum of the square footage measurements for each function space associated with the quote.
   Total # of Covers	Sum of the expected number of attendees for all functions associated with the quote.

8. View the information in the Threshold Variance section.

   Some fields are described in the following table.

   Field	Comments
   Required Threshold	Sum of the threshold for each function space associated with the quote. For more information on threshold calculations, see Profit and Revenue Thresholds.
   Function Space Threshold Information	Function space profit minus the required threshold value. If the value is negative, the quote did not pass the threshold. If the value is positive, the quote passed the threshold.
   Function Space Room Rental	Sum of function space rentals for the quote.
