Using the Business Service Simulator to Diagnose a Workflow Process
You can use the Business Service Simulator to diagnose a Workflow Process that has failed.
To use the Business Service Simulator to diagnose a Workflow Process
Run the Workflow Process from the Business Service Simulator using the Workflow Process Manager business service.
This step runs the Workflow Process in the Application Object Manager.
In the Siebel client, navigate to the Administration - Business Service screen, then the Simulator view.
In the Simulator list, create a new record with the values shown in the following table.

In the Input Arguments list, create a new record, and then do the following:
Set the Test Case # field to 1.
Select and open the Property Name field.
In the multivalue applet that appears, click New, and then set the field values as shown in the following table.

ProcessName
Value
<Type in the name of the Workflow Process>
Click Save.
Repeat step 5 and 6 as necessary for other parameters, including RowId, that Siebel CRM passes to the Workflow Process.
In the multivalue applet, click OK.
In the Simulator list of the Simulator view, click Run.
