Synchronizing Promotion Configuration with Updated Product Information

It is common for the customizable product (CP) definition (ex/ structure, domain products, cardinality for child product) to change after a promotion configuration is complete. This can lead to mismatches when some product-related information becomes outdated or invalid.

To keep the promotion definition in sync with latest CP definition, administrators are encouraged to click on Synchronize button in the Relationship tab. This action updates the promotion with the latest product relationships and cardinalities, and removes any that are no longer valid.

To Synchronize Promotion Configuration with Updated Product Definition

1. Navigate to the Administration - Product screen, then Product Promotions view.

2. In the Product Promotions list, select the desired promotion.

3. Click on the Products view tab to take you to Components view.

4. In the Products list, click the Product Name field of the customizable product.

   The structure of that product is displayed.

5. Click on the Synchronize button.
