Configure Authentication for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Generative AI Service

To configure authentication for OCI Generative AI Service

The following configurations for RunTime Event, BC User properties, Applet/View/Screen/Link/BO configurations are given for the OOTB use case. Please configure the same accordingly for your use cases.

  1. Download the Authentication file from OCI which has the Credential details like user ID, fingerprint, and tenancy.

  2. Rename the file Config to ociconfig.properties and place it in the Siebel's internal Tomcat's webapps folder. The file should be a ‘properties’ file with the name as ociconfig.

  3. Ensure that the ociconfig.properties file includes the location of the private key(.pem) file and make sure that the path mentioned is valid.

  4. Import the necessary Certificates as required to both internal, external Tomcats and add it to the Siebel keystore or truststore.

  5. Restart the Tomcats.
