7.1 VNFM Upgrade Prerequisites

Following are the prerequisites for the VNFM Upgrade:

• VNF upgrade is enabled from 5.4.x v1 to 6.0.2.1.0 v1.
• Since v2 based deployment is through NFVD, the v1 to v2 is not supported.

Post VNFM upgrade 5.4.x VNF files will be available in /var/vnfm/instances/*. The upgrade endpoint upgrades the VNF files and saves them in /var/vnfm/instances/v1/* path. After VNF upgrade is successful, old files from the following path /var/vnfm/instances/ will be deleted.
