Using the Data Migration Workbench for PeopleSoft Supplier Contract Management
Application Data Sets (ADS) can be used with PeopleSoft Supplier Contract Management for the purpose of moving data between development environments, test environments, and ultimately to a production environment.
This table lists the delivers ADS definitions (delivered in Data Set Designer) to support the migration of PeopleSoft Supplier Contract Management setup data.
|
Delivered ADS to Support PeopleSoft Supplier Contract Management Setup |
Dependencies |
Application Data Set (ADS) Usage |
|---|---|---|
|
Document Formats and Options - CS_DOC_FORMAT |
None |
This data set includes the records that define the default word template used to create and preview clause and section content, and paragraph styles Note: The data in Document Templates and Styles must be manually updated on the target database before replicating data from this data set. |
|
Document Configurator Types - CS_DOCUMENT_CONFIG_TYPE |
None |
This data set includes the records that define requirements used in document configurators. |
|
Libraries - CS_LIBRARIES |
None |
This data set includes the records that define clause libraries. |
|
Approval Types - CS_APPROVAL_TYPE |
None |
This data set includes the records that define approval types that indicate risk levels and approval settings by role. Note: If a role does not exist in target database, there could be validation errors. You should copy the role definitions before you copy approval types. |
|
Classes - CS_CLASSES |
Approval Types Note: Approver types are optional for a class. With this relation, the Data Migration Workbench prompts you whether the approver type should be included in the migration. |
This data set includes the records that define classes and maps to approval types. |
|
User Defined Fields - CS_USER_DEFINED_FIELDS |
Binds Note: With this relation, the Data Migration Workbench prompts you whether to insert data for any bind used in user defined fields. |
This data set includes the records that define user defined fields for character, date, integer, and decimal data types. These fields can be tied to bind variables and can be used to search for documents. |
|
Wizard Prompt Tables - CS_WIZARD_PROMPTS |
None |
This data set includes the records that define the prompt tables used by bind definitions. |
|
Binds - CS_BINDS |
Wizard Prompt Tables Note: With this relation, the Data Migration Workbench prompts you whether to include wizard prompt tables used in the data content for bind variables. |
This data set includes the records that define bind variables used by clauses, sections, rules, and supplier contract documents. |
|
Bind Mappings - CS_BIND_MAPPINGS |
Binds Note: With this relation, the Data Migration Workbench prompts you whether to include bind variables used in the data content. |
This data set includes the records that define the mappings between transaction type bind variables. |
|
My Document Preferences:
|
Operator Definitions and Roles |
This data set includes the records that define default internal collaborators and role level view access for documents. The two records that contain the data to be transported are not related and therefore two data sets are needed. If you need to copy data for collaborators and role access, then the project must include both data sets in Data Migration Workbench. If you do not need to copy data for collaborators and role access, then include the one that has the data change. For example, if you only want to make changes to default collaborators, then copy only CS_DOCPREF_COLLABORATORS. |
|
User Preferences - CS_USER_PREFERENCES |
Operator Definitions and Roles |
This data set included the records that define document and administrator privileges for authored documents. Note: If a user profile does not exist in target database, there could be validation errors. You should copy the user profiles before you copy user preferences. |
|
Rules - CS_RULES |
Binds, Clauses and Sections Note: With this relation, the Data Migration Workbench prompts you whether to include bind variables used in the data content. |
This data set includes the records that define the rules used by clauses, sections, and document configurators. |
|
Clauses and Sections - CS_CLAUSES_SECTIONS |
Binds, Rules, and Clauses With the Approval Type relation, the Data Migration Workbench includes the approval types used for clauses. With the Binds relation, the Data Migration Workbench includes the bind variables used for clauses, sections, or both. With the Classes relation, the Data Migration Workbench includes the classes used for clauses. With the Clauses relation, the Data Migration Workbench prompts you whether to include the clauses and sections used as dependents. With the Alternate Clause relation, the Data Migration Workbench prompts you whether to include the clauses that are used as alternate clauses. With the Libraries relation, the Data Migration Workbench prompts you whether to include the clauses that are used for clauses. With the Roles relation, the Data Migration Workbench prompts you whether to include rules that are used in alternate clauses. |
