Overview
The Oracle Insurance Calculation Engine application and the Rules Palette application together form a complete solution. A four step installation process is required in order to install and set-up both applications. These instructions represent step one of that process. Refer to the documentation library included with this release for the other three steps of the installation.
This installation guide is meant solely for the installation of a development environment and installations for production environments require additional / different configuration.
Audience
These instructions are written for Database Administrators who have comprehensive knowledge of creating and configuring databases.
Pre-requisites
- One of the following databases:
- Oracle Database 23ai / Oracle 19c

SQL Server 2022

DB2 - 11.5 GA Advanced Enterprise Server Edition (AESE).
- Any compatible operating system.
- V12.1.0.0 Media Pack from My Oracle Support. Select the Media pack that corresponds to the application server you will be using.
- Database from the V12.1.0.0 Media Pack from My Oracle Support. The database information is listed as a separate download within the Media Pack.
