Recovery

  1. The Diameter connection specified in the alarm instance field is processing a higher than expected TxAnswerLocalNode message rate. The alarm thresholds for minor, major, and critical alarms are configured in the System Options, TxAnswerLocalNode Alarm Threshold Options used by the Diameter connection.
  2. If the alarm severity is minor, the alarm indicates the TxAnswerLocalNode message rate has exceeded the Minor Onset Threshold value configured for the site.
  3. If the alarm severity is major, the alarm indicates the TxAnswerLocalNode message rate has exceeded the Major Onset Threshold value configured for the site.
  4. If the alarm severity is critical, the alarm indicates the TxAnswerLocalNode message rate has exceeded the Critical Onset Threshold value configured for the site.
  5. Minor alarm is cleared when the TxAnswerLocalNode message rate falls below the Minor Abatement Threshold and remains below this value for the configured abatement timer. The alarm is also cleared if the connection becomes unavailable or disconnected.
  6. Major alarm is downgraded to Minor when the TxAnswerLocalNode message rate falls below the Major Abatement Threshold and remains below this value for the configured abatement timer. The alarm is cleared entirely if the TxAnswerLocalNode message rate further falls below the Minor Abatement Threshold for the required abatement timer period, or if the connection becomes unavailable or disconnected.
  7. Critical alarm is downgraded to Major when the TxAnswerLocalNode message rate falls below the Critical Abatement Threshold and stays below this value for the configured abatement timer. The alarm is further downgraded to Minor if the message rate falls below the Major Abatement Threshold for the required duration, and is cleared completely if it drops below the Minor Abatement Threshold, or if the connection becomes unavailable or disconnected.
