About the Siebel Redwood UI Theme

The Siebel Redwood theme provides all the functionality with a new Redwood user experience (UI). It's built on the Open UI framework and includes several new features.

Home with Ask Oracle

Home with Ask Oracle provides a new application home and global navigation experience that lets users:

• Search for screens and views
• Access available tools
• Navigate through level 1 and level 2 views
• Receive desktop alerts and toast notifications

New Styles, Colors, Icons, and Fonts

Oracle Redwood styling stays in line with Oracle's desktop applications. The fonts and colors are chosen to reflect the new color schemes introduced across Oracle's portfolio and are designed to reduce eye strain. Bigger icons and less clutter also makes it easier to navigate the UI.

Restyled Home Page, Screens, and Views

The new Redwood-styled components overlay existing functions. The application Home page is redesigned with a simplified header, fewer elements, and cleaner designs. The uncluttered layout comes with larger buttons, menus, and text fields, emphasizing a less dense look. Show and hide the Search toolbar using a toggle button in the menu.
