Requirements for Using Siebel Mobile

Siebel Mobile uses Siebel Open UI. Before you can use Siebel Mobile, you must meet the following requirements:

  • You must have the latest supported iOS or Android mobile device (tablet ors smartphone) with an internet connection.
  • The browser on your mobile device must support the following: HTML5 and CSS 3.0 or higher.
  • You've downloaded the Siebel app from Google Play or the archive (SiebelMobile.zip) file from the Siebel Tools installed home directory. For iOS platform, always use the archive file, since the customer domain name needs to be added. Please open a Service Request if you need more details.
  • You've reviewed the topics about Siebel and Siebel Mobile in the applicable Siebel Installation Guide.
  • If you're running Siebel Mobile disconnected on your mobile device, ensure that you've enough main memory on it.
  • Make sure that you've enough RAM available for use with Siebel Mobile. Ensure that your mobile device has a physical RAM of 4 GB or higher.
  • We recommend that you use Oracle ACS services for fine tuning your environment for the disconnected mobile application.
