Troubleshooting Event Based Rewards

Following are key troubleshooting steps to resolve common issues related to Event Based rewards processing in Siebel Loyalty.

  • In the Siebel logs directory, review log files such as the LoyEngineEventReward component logs to check the Event Rewards related logs, component-specific log files, and server machine logs for detailed debugging of any issues related to Event Rewards.

  • Use server manager command to change the log level to maximum: change evtloglvl %= 5 for comp LoyEngineEventReward

  • Ensure that the Event is set to Active in order for members to receive rewards.

  • Set the cooling off value appropriately to prevent awarding duplicate rewards to the same member.

  • If a member already has an event reward transaction for a specific event within the cooling off period, they will not receive the reward again.
