Preparing for the Upgrade

Follow the steps to prepare the Customer Database and Upgrade Servers for Siebel setup.

1. Prepare a DB server having customer a Customer Database from the old version of Siebel.

2. Identify a server box to install Siebel.

3. Download the installation package on to the server box.

4. Download the ancestor repository corresponding to customer version of Siebel.
