Codes Detail Window of the Assignments Page

Overview

Use this detail window to assign codes to resource and role assignments. You can also view assigned project, activity, resource, and role codes when you select the relevant grouping band. The data you see in project, activity, resource, and role grouping bands is read only on this page.

Screen Elements

Assign... button.

Opens the Select Assignment Code dialog box. To see this button, you must select an assignment.

 Search

Searches the view or dialog box for data matching the criteria entered into the box.

 Context menu

Delete: Deletes the selected item.

Codes detail window columns

Name field

The name of the code.

Value field

The alphanumeric or descriptive value of the code.

Description field

A description of the code or the code value.

Getting Here

  1. Click  Navigation Menu.
  2. On the Navigation Menu:
    • Expand  Projects and click Assignments.
    • Or expand  Resources and click Assignments.
  3. Select an assignment.
  4. Click the Codes detail window.
