Creating Risk Categories

Create risk categories and subcategories to define a risk breakdown structure (RBS), which enables you to categorize and organize project risks.

To create a risk category:

  1. On the  Navigation Menu, expand  Administration and click Enterprise Data.
  2. On the Enterprise Data page, expand Risks and click Risk Categories.
  3. On the Risk Categories page:
    1. Select an existing category and click Add  and select Add to create a category at the same level, or select Add Child to create a category below the selected level.
    2. In the Category field, double-click and type a unique name.
    3. Move the risk category to the correct location in the list by clicking  Context and selecting Move Up, Move Down, Move Left, or Move Right.
    4. Click Save.
